What You’ll Experience
About The Facilitators
My why behind Revive and Thrive is to provide women with a sanctuary for rest, reflection, and a chance to reclaim their power—something I wish I’d had during my own burnout journey in academia
Dr. Leann Smith of The Mending Place
Burned out and battling illness, I wanted to experience slowness and rest. I was able to re-calibrate and figure out what I really wanted.
Dr. Lauren Foster of Fostering Wellness
Our shared experience left us both frustrated and burned out. After leaving academia, we both sought to pursue other dreams. We felt the push-pull of attempting to balance the demands of our jobs and our personal lives. Knowing how fortunate we both were to be able to exit difficult work environments, we wanted to create a space where women like us could just process the difficulties of trying to achieve work/life balance.
Dr. Maya Angelou
“Every person needs to take one day away. A day in which one consciously separates the past from the future. Jobs, family, employers, and friends can exist one day without any one of us…”
